Mahen Liyanage (1960-1965) presently residing in California, U S A has sent us the following obituary of Mrs.Mabel Morrell (Bolly) who functioned as the Sick Room Matron at STC Mount in the 1950’s & 1960’s when most of our contemporaries went on to Mt. after having completed their Education at Gurutalawa. Mr.Morrell’s son Randolph kept wickets and captained the College Cricket Team in 1963 whilst he was with us in Copleston “A” We reproduce the Article and Obituary as it is sure to interest all our friends/contemporaries.

Passed away peacefully

January 11, 2008.

Aged 100 years.

Loving mother to Randolph, mother-in-law to Maryanne, granna to Ryan and Warren and great-grandmother to Alexander and Aidan, second mother to Jeremy.

Will be sadly missed by all her family and friends
