On the numerous visits to Guru during the last decade for the Annual OBA Re-Unions and AGM’s; for Prize Givings ; for Sport Meets, for Installations and Inductions of Headmasters; for Supervision of Development Projects undertaken by the OBA as well as by individual Old Boys and groups of Old Boys; to supervise the repair and complete overhaul of the Swimming Pool Filtration Plant and its Engine deliver material gifts and donations of beds for the Dorms; Tables and Chairs for classrooms; books for the Library; equipment for the pool; for swimming; for life saving; for the Laboratory and for various sports activities; etc, etc,. we were fortunate in having to travel on numerous occasions on various roads as well as stopovers and stay overs in many attractive locations to and from Guru. These include Belihuloya, Haldumulla, Koslanda, Poonagala, Haputale, Diyatalawa, Bandarawela, Hakgala, Nuwara-Eliya, Nanu Oya, Talawakelle, Hatton, Dickoya, Watawala, Ginigathhena, Kithulgala, Ramboda, etc, etc,. Perhaps more than any of the above the most picturesque and appealing as well as nostalgic and sentimental sights which are still available on the Guru Campus are also amongst some of the images captured on these travels and visits which appear below.
