STCB OBA AGM 09.08.2008
The AGM commenced at about 7.00 p.m in the Keble Memorial
Hall and all the items on the Agenda were taken up and disposed
of. An important items was the amendments to the Constitution.
R Sandanakrishnan explained to the membership the need and
significance of each of the proposed amendments. After discussion
all the amendments were adopted. The Meeting ended with the
singing of the College Song and the National Anthem. A group
photograph of the New Ex-Co was also taken.
A special feature of the various events throughout the weekend
was the good humoured and light banter between Mr.Ananda Gallearachchi
and Buddhika Kurukularatne which kept all the younger Old
Boys amused and entertained.
Headmaster L A M Chandrasekera, was present right throughout
the events and proceedings and engaging in cordial discussions
with the Old Boys.
R Sandanakrishnan with his team of Younger Old Boys was responsible
for the main organization of the events for the weekend and
ensured the smooth operation of all activities.
G Parinathan and Subash Kulasena too were amongst the several
others involved in the organization of the activities of the
weekend.
